However, after COVID, a lot of learning is also taking place outside the classroom. This has cultivated a new problem for instructors &#8211; identifying learning gaps for learning that took place outside. Already an extremely difficult thing to do inside the class, outside the class learning takes things to a completely different level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some instructors have relied on assessments but these are also not great metrics for student performance. For instance, when two students achieve identical scores on a test, it doesn&#8217;t automatically imply an identical understanding of the subject.
